This is an excellent book and it is well written. Most of the book tells about the last year of the war. The battles that were fought, and the climate of the country at that time. It discusses Hitler, also Churchill, FDR and Joseph Stalin. About their politics, their strategies and of course much about Gen. Patton. The killing of Patton is a very small part of the book. I enjoyed the book, however I think a man would enjoy it more. I'm old enough to remember Patton and the end of the war so I think that is one reason I liked it.
