Alanna Knight series about Inspector Jeremy Faro in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is looking forward to escaping Edinburgh's and vacationing in the land of his birth, Orkney Island. He is looking forward to visiting with his daughters. Upon arrival the Inspector is alarmed to see a trail of mourners, who are mourning the death of a family friend, Thora Belfray. He discovers she died not a natural death but of arsenic poisoning!
Now he must discover who is guilty, a close family friend, a family member? A great mystery--well-written with a great plot and wonderful characters.
