I was unexpectedly surprised at the enjoyable plot that kept me guessing to the end. The author does not go too deeply into the land of role-playing games - just enough to give you idea of how they work, the kinds of people involved (a real variety), why they're fun, and how they can be perverted by a few unstable personalities into terrifying traps for even those who are not involved in the games themselves. A fun read.

Good book, interesting plot. Thought I had it all figured out, but she surprised me with a few twists and turns that made me question my theory. Ending had a few more surprises, too! A little bit of romance thrown in for good measure, but nothing over the top or annoying enough to detract from the suspense. If you like your mysteries with a few surprises, I think you would enjoy this book.

Very interesting, I had to keep reading this book until I was finished. Couldn't lay it down, I finished it in one day.

Excellent story - keeps you guessing til the end (even after you think the case is solved!). Another new author for me and I was truly impressed.
Loved the book, if you love mystery this is the book for you.
Spindler uses New Orleans to good advantage as she constructs an intricate plot with more loops than the caterpillar"s hookah. It's a fun read - perfect the the beach or summer porch.

I had never read a book by Erica Spindler before, but I enjoyed it very much. It kept you gripped through the whole book.
Great mystery thriller! Kept me guessing right to the very end... even though I had expected a twist and turn in the 'killer' never would've guessed 'who dun it'!
Really liked this book. This is the second book I've read by Erica Spindler. Will continue to read her books. Keeps you guessing until the very end

A new author for me. Excellent book. Very gripping.
it was a fair read. slow in spots. Enjoyable.
Mostly murder/suspense with a dash of romance.
It starts off a little slow, but it keeps you guessing about the whodunit until the end.
good story, kept my interest
A very compelling suspense/romance set in New Orleans featuring a fantasy?role playing game that some take seriously, even to killing!
Good suspense. You think you have it figured out, then find out you don't.
Couldn't put this one down. Set in the incomparable New Orleans... a murder mystery where you can't quite figure it out until the very end. Excellent book. I can't wait to check out more by this author. Read it in about 8 hours!
This is one of the best suspense books I've read in quite some time--keeps you guessing until the very end. Just when you think they've solved the case, you find out they haven't.
One of her best writings!!
Couldn't put it down. I liked the plot I thought it was different. I read it in two days.
New author for me; but I'll be reading more of her work. A suspensful mystery with a bit of romance (but nothing sexually explicit like a lot of female authors seem to feel is necessary). If you haven't read this one yet don't be surprised if you change your mind about who the White Rabbit is before you're done.
Good story and believable characters. I enjoyed reading this book. It was a fast read too. I will definitely be reading more of Erica Spindler's books.
Erica Spindler always keeps you guessing. I highly recommend any of her books.
A good read - a real page turner!
I loved this book even though I figured the mystery out early on.
I honestly didn't like this one nearly as much as her others. A bit confusing to me.
Spindler is a great read.
UNPUTDOWNABLE.
Great book, loved it.Love all her books.
I could not put this book down. Every time I thought I had figured out who did it something happened to change my mind.

Great reading! If you remember the Dungeons & Dragons era, you'll enjoy this one! Full of twists and turns with a surprise ending!

This is the sequel to "See Jane Die".
rediculous concept
This is a fast paced novel with unexpected twists and turns. The killer is not revealed until the end. This is one of Erica Spindler's best. I read it in one sitting.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat.

Stacy Killian is in New Orleans. This is a quick read - good beach book - draws on computer game playing and is peopled with less-than-perfect characters, which is always a good thing.
Excellent!!!!
Great storyline...I really enjoy Spindlers books
Some rough language, but well within reality for the character. I enjoyed it.
Mystery - kept my interest till the end,

Great read! Fun plot twists!
Read 8 chapters and it was moving really slow so decided not to read it.
Erica Spindler does it again! A great read!!!!
Former police detective Stacy Killian has given up her badge in favor of grad school in New Orleans. But when she finds the bodies of her neighbors, she doesn't believe the police are doing everything they can to find the killers. Stacy starts her own investigation into their deaths. The investigation leads her to a violent on-line role-playing game called White Rabbit. As she compares notes with Police Detective Spencer Malone, they find a string of murders that are tied to the game.
I loved the first half of the story and couldn't put it down. The story was speeding along with something new uncovered each chapter. I took a guess as to who was the Supreme White Rabbit...the person who was running the game...and got it right. But when we started uncovering the people behind the murders, I didn't think it really added up. The reasoning behind some of the actions were bizarre to me. I did end up guessing correctly, but I wasn't really satisfied with the end. Therefore, I subtracted one star. My rating: 4 Stars.
