When a town is divided, peace cannot exist, but what happens when the university becomes divided? At first it seems like a harmless spate of practical jokes are just a way to release some energy during the Cambridge winter, but is there a more sinister goal than a good laugh? Michael, as Senior Proctor, is busy with keeping the peace between the hostels and the colleges, but in the midst of it all several thefts, including a holy relic, and murders occur. Are the two related? He and Matthew are kept busy trying to put all the pieces together and you just may be surprised in the end.
