reviewed Kill Anything That Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam on
This book is horrifically biased. Turse presents conflicting arguments, specifically in regards to his attempts to blame the grunts for committing atrocities and then describing for multiple pages how the American military brainwashed them into mindless killing machines. A man cannot be considered brainwashed yet still held accountable for his actions.

I was excited for a new book about the Vietnam War, but was sorely disappointed when I realized that Turse is merely trying to return to calling soldiers baby killers. I cannot recommend this book to anyone.
