WONDERFUL Scottish historical romance novel! I wasn't sure if I'd like it at first, but the characters and dialogue were very witty and I greatly enjoyed it!
Not one of the best historical romances I've read. It was a bit rushed in some places, and very slow in others. The worst part was the the woman was constantly whining, making you wish the man had never bothered with her.

I really liked this book. It was a little slow at first, but really improved after about a fourth of the story.

It started off great, and the first half of the book was fun and exciting, but then the 2nd half fizzled and got a little dull and rushed.
I have read a couple of Kathleen Givens books and loved them. This was not my favorite but I still really liked it. The story did take some time to get started but once it did it didn't stop. In fact I liked it so much I went and ordered the second in the series.
