Fun, extremely entertaining! Funny, heartwarming plot involving lots of animals who need rescuing, a stalker, and an unruly teenager being forced to live with a stick in the mud uncle (who is a Vegas security guard) and a Vegas showgirl with a heart of pure gold.

This book is kind of the second book after Skintight. In this one Carly Jacobson is a dancer and neighbor to Treena McCall. Her neighbor is good looking Wolfgang Jones but he is not a people person he has a plan and it doesn't involve dancers he has better things in mind for his life. So when they tangle the sparks fly! Good book!

This was a very good book. I enjoyed it immensley. The chemistry between the characters worked really well.
Carly and Wolf are two very different people with very different goals, but somehow find their way to each other.

This is the follow-up to "Skintight" and delivers just as many laughs. Showgirl Carly Jacobsen meets her match in neighbor and casino security man Wolgang Jones. See the sparks fly!

Great book. This book follows 'Skintight'. Both about Vegas showgirl pals.

Continuing the story of the Las Vegas showgirls, this is about Carly who meets and falls for the head of Security at the Casino she dances at. Along the way, there is a stalker, an out of control teenager and fun backroom peeks at Casino Security.

Fun read! I really enjoy Susan Anderson's quirky characters. The underlying theme of family is always well represented in her books. I think this is the second in the series.

Very cute, sexy and funny! Love these books.

Part of the Vegas Showgirl series. Not as fun/funny as some of Andersen's work, but hey, it's not War and Peace, either. Fun, easy read.

Great reading. Susan Andersen in wonderful and this is no exception. It was hard to put down and kept me interested the whole way through wondering what was going to happen next.

another good chick lit from Andersen
Another delightful read from Susan Andersen. I was glad to have both books of her Las Vegas duo to read consecutively. The first was 'Skintight'. The adventures of two delightful young women, Vegas showgirls, and their guys.
Classic modern day romance but Susan Anderson keeps it engaging so that you don't want to put it down.

Avery good and entertaining contemporary love story!
Very hard to get interested in...just not my favorite.
Just for Kicks is a light summer romance that succeeds in being fun and funny. Our heroine, Carly, can't stand her animal-hating, driven, uptight neighbor who just happens to be second in charge of security in the same casino where she works. Wolfgang has no patience for the seemingly flaky, flighty showgirl and her overly loud cats and dogs.Carly and Wolf are fun characters with good chemistry and funny moments. I smiled, I laughed out loud, and I reread a couple of the steamy scenes. Overall, a fun and quick read.
Follow-up to the book Skintight. Good romance.
This is the second book of Susan Andersen's about Las Vegas showgirls. This is Carly's story! ****
another great book by Susan Andersen. A heart of gold-show girl; a stern security casino hunk; his troubled teenage nephew and dogs and cats--this book can't miss. A good to the end read.
Sequel to Andersen's "Skintight," but it's not necessary to have read that book first. Carly Jacobsen is a Las Vegas showgirl. Wolfgang Jones is a security specialist and Carly's new next door neighbor. Between a menagerie of pets, a rebellious live in nephew and a dillusional stalker, Carly and Wolf become involved in each other's lives. Good quick read.
opposites attract in vegas. light reading.
Excellent read, part of the Las Vegas series, a warm, witty, funny, romatic book.
Excellent characters, good story, very funny and even moving. Another great book from a consistently good author!
An good book by Susan Andersen. I relly enjoyed reading it.
A laugh-out-loud book, follow-up to "Skintight."
I like pretty much all of Susan Anderson's books and this was no exception.
Hot! I loved it!
A good light read, with a cast of characters continued from a previous book. (Not necessary to have read the other one.) The main character is a show girl with a few surprises up her sleeves who warms up her German neighbor with her friendly ways as they work to uncover a not so nice secret admirer.
Susan Anderson has written another winner.
The large amount of graphic sex spoiled the story for me. But I guess that's par for the life of a Vegas showgirl and Head of Security. Otherwise the story itself is entertaining and fast-paced.
Vegas Showgirl Carly keeps finding out the hard way that her idea of fun differs radically from her neighbor Wolfgang. She thinks he is sexy, but he acts like a robot! So whats with the chemistry?
He has noticed her too, because of her ridiculous assortment of pets. She's a pain and she's wacky, but for some reason he can't seem to stop thinking about her.
This is a story about opposites attracking....
A fun read, a hot story!

Las Vegas showgirl Carly Jacobsen clashes with her next door neighbor Wolfgang Jones; can love be far behind.
Excellent book, lots of heat and action!
In Susan Anderson's laugh-out loud follow-up to Skintight, sometimes love is a sure bet, sometimes it's a losing proposition
Part of a series.
"Just for Kicks" was my first romance novel read. A friend of mine recommended that I read one as the genre tends to be light, simple reading. She was right. It took me a while to get into "Just for Kicks" because I had to keep reminding myself that this isn't the classic literature that I'm used to reading, so I probably shouldn't compare the two. But once I finally got into the book "Just for Kicks" did become the light, simple read I was looking for. However, it did not really keep with my prejudice about romance novels. There was only one gratuitous "romantic" scene, and from what I've been told that isn't the norm. Which is definitely ok with me, but given the stereotype, I was expecting more.
I guess I can't recommend "Just for Kicks" if you're looking for some seriously good reading. But if all you're looking for is something that is light and simple, then the romance genre is your pick. And this is a pretty typical book I'd think.

Both this book and Skintight were disappointing. I read between 50-100 pages of each then skipped to the last chapter and didn't feel like I missed anything in between. They are missing a spark that would make them enjoyable and worth reading.
From the back of the book: Las Vegas showgirl Carly Jacobsen keeps finding out the hard way that her idea of fun differs radically from that of her neighbor Wolfgang Jones. Sure, he looks incredible, and he seems to have a thing for her legs, but the man's a robot. So what's with their chemistry?
Wolf has noticed Carly's legs, because they're always tangled up in leashes attached to her ridiculous assortment of pets. She's a pain, she's wacky, she's always in the way and yet for some reason he can't keep her out of his thoughts.
When a moment of weakness leads to some serious sheet-scorching sex, the two discover at least one area where they do both have fun. But outside the bedroom the stakes are getting higher, and love might come down to a roll of the dice...
