I have to say, this book was SO much fun to read! I read the first book in the series, Key to Conflict and hated Gillian Key. In Conspiracy, she isnt being protected nearly as much so her badass attitude doesnt come out a whole lot (which is what I hated). It shows when needed, but not towards those trying to just honestly help her. Conspiracy is fast paced, and is extremely hard to put down. I will absolutly be getting the next book in the series (Key to Redemption)!

I really liked this book. I haven't read the first of the series yet (this is the second of the series), and it makes some references that I think I'm really going to have to read the first one to get caught up on. However, I wasn't lost either. This is an okay series to jump into without having read them in order.
I liked the premise of there being a therapist for the paranormal, and I can see how having that character be someone who is trained in military would help. Not every paranormal out there is going to be a warm fuzzy. I liked the relationship between her and the love interest...who is a vampire.
I was pleasantly surprised and I will continue to read this series.
