FERN MICHAELS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS
Of the Kentucky Sunrise Series I liked this one the least.
I loved this book and had a hard time putting it down. I'd definantey recommend all the books involving Nealy Clay and her family!
In the grand finale to Michaels's epic story of the Coleman and Thornton families, tough-as-nails horsewoman Nealy Coleman Diamond faces her greatest challenge yet--to produce another Derby winner.
Nealy Coleman Diamond faces her greatest challenge yet - to produce another Derby winner and show the world that a determined woman never quits.

I loved the whole series. Didn't want it to end when it did, but the series came whole circle and ended where it needed to.
The final book of Fern Micheals "Kentucky" trilogy. The truth of a family's troubled past is revealed, and our heroine finds herself faced with the greatest challenges of her life. Each book can stand alone, but the story is best if all three books are read. Excellent story!
very good
If you like horses and strong female characters, You will LIKE this book.
Nealy is happy with her new husband, lawyer Hatch Littletree...but when it comes to horses, she's never satisfied. Nobody can measure up to her standards as a trainer, not even her daughter Emmie, who now runs the family's famous stables.
Teturning to Blue Diamond Farms for a family reunion sends Nealy reeling. Emmie has let the farm slide, and she's picked a small, gutly colt to send to the Derby-a nice horse, but clearly the wrong one. Suddenly Nealy is back in the gme, ready to prove she's not too old to back a winner-even if it means taking on another colt as her own personal project and going head-to-head with her own daughter.
Now, with the ghosts of the past haunting them both, Emmie and Nealy engage in an unstoppale rivalry, two headstrong women, each determined to win-no matter what the danger, no matter what the cost.
