Found this an enjoyable read.
This is another great read by Hannah Howell. If you enjoy her books you won't be disappointed with this one.
loved it!
This book is about a Kentucky Scotsman and a newly poverty-stricken young woman. When Clover Sherwood is jilted by her fiancee, she asks the Scotsman she's just met to marry her. Clover has 3 dependents: her mother and twin brothers. This seems to be a simple solution, but it is not.
The book was a page turner with few lapses in the action. I enjoyed it.
