I really liked this series of three by Janice Giles. A rich saga of pioneer adventure and enduring love set on the rugged american frontier. In Old Kentucky, David & Bethia are in love but they would have to fight for a life together Their path to happiness was blocked by marauding Cherokee Indians, greedy land speculators, and the twisted man Bethia was forced to marry.
