This was a really great read. I haven't read a lot by this author, but this was a really intense book. I learned a lot about archeology and Egypt. There are a few twist throughout and I was drawn in right up the the last page. Highly recommended!!!!

Oh this book was good! Had me hooked from chapter 1 and would not let me put it down! Fast, gripping, exciting read with lots of twists and turns. Tess Gerritsen did it again with this book! This one falls in the Jane Rizolli/Maura Isles series. A must read for T.G. Fans and new comers to her work.

well, here's the first book by Tess Gerritsen that i could put down..even though I didn't! For some reason this book didn't grab me the way her other's have. Seemed a bit predictable and dry. An ok read but I prefer her others

very well written story--at first I thought 'oh no a lot of archaeology jargon I won't understand' but not so, takes a little to get started but the twists it takes makes a good story!

Medical Examiner Maura Isles is happy she received an invitation to view the CT scan of a well preserved mummy that was found in the basement of a local museum. But she is shocked to find the mummy has modern dental work and a bullet in her leg. Detectives Jane Rizzoli and Barry Frost are called in to investigate the murder. They soon find the remains of another woman in the museum. When a third body is found in the trunk of Archaeologist Josephine Pulcillo's car, she knows that the killer has found her hiding place and will stop at nothing to see her dead.

This is the 7th book in Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles series. The mystery kept me interested, but the side stories about the character's personal lives felt a little out of place. There is a ton of information about archaeology and mummification. I learned a lot reading this story. My rating: 4 Stars.

Tess Gerritsen has created another chilling, fast-paced thriller that is sure to delight fans of the Rizzoli/Isles mystery series. Readers new to Gerritsen's writing will also find The Keepsake very accessible and enjoyable.I greatly enjoyed the archaeological elements in The Keepsake.

Good book. Ancient artifacts and a killer make for good reading. Very enjoyable.

I have yet to read a bad book by Tess Gerritsen. I could not put this book down and had it finished in 2 days. You will not regret getting this book.
