Book had more interesting ideas than many family type cookbooks. One of the author's mom moved here from Japan, so that influenced some of the recipes. Most of the recipes were for four people and might get a bit pricey for a large family. Perfect for a wedding/shower gift and new cooks as the recipes are easy to follow.
I received this book from goodreads contest with expectation of fair/unbiased review.
