Very good read. A man caught in a world of THE KEEPERS, people who watch over animals. He watches a man killed on the road and is swiftly brought into their world through the death of this man and through his autistic nephew.

Excellent read which kept me guessing to the end. Very good writer who will be better as he goes on. From the back of the book"
That was when Gil's nightmare began. At first he thought it was merely odd, a series of weird coincedences.Household pets started to act strangely, Zoo animals escaped. But now he cans see a pattern emerging, a chilling reminder from a past that he can't or won't remember!

This was a pretty strange book... I did like the narration... the writer's voice was quite unique, but the general story didn't make a whole lot of sense... plus, it would've been nicer if there were more things about the animals. It was a fast read, and while it wasn't a great book, it wasn't bad either. I have another book of his on my to-read list, but I am not in any great rush to read it, though I still will.

What a great read! It is a bit strange but very interesting. There are 2 great monologues in it. I especially love the one about how much he loves his life long friend. Check it out!
