This is a story of three sisters all charged with "Keeping" different types of preternatural beings. This story deals with the Keeper of the Vampires. One could easily identify with and put themselves in the place of the main characters and feel the fear and confusion they felt. The sisters all have different personalities and find ways to deal with each other and their responsibilities. The feel of New Orleans is highlighted through the spiritualism of the city. There is an eclectic mix of religions and cultures evident throughout which gave the book a special flavor. This book is a must for fans of the Preternatural Fantasy.
