This book should have been a winning combination: Murder , Mystery , an old Scottish Castle , a helpful dog (named dog). And yet the story let me down. Maybe it was the narrator because I did not like the different voices that she used and I wanted to get to the meat of the story. It became so tedious by the 2nd CD that I gave up. I don't give up easily , but when you don't care about either the victim or the female anthropological architect ; and you start thinking of better names for "Dog" - it is then time to hit the eject button.
