This is the best Amish book that I have read and I have read a lot. The author has done a lot of current research on how the Amish currently live. Land has become so expensive that they have turned to home businesses to make a living and stay within their community.

I absolutely love this book. I'm a fan of Patricia Davids and once again, she did not disappoint. I look forward to more books from her set among the Amish. I especially enjoyed the information she integrated into the storyline that helps the reader gain a better understanding of the Amish faith.
