This book has 500 words commonly used in the G.R.E. The book is great, the words are explained very clearly and there are example sentences which i thought was very helpful. The words are commonly used in books and I can tell, after having learned all 500 words, that my vocabulary is much broader. However, when i took the G.R.E., only one word was present and it seemed almost a waste to have learned all of the words. With that being said, the G.R.E. tests vary and another test could very well have these words present. Other G.R.E. study guides also showed that these were the most commonly used words on the G.R.E.. The book is very helpful and clearly understandable. I recommend ordering it.
