This is a wonderful book. It contains three separate stories, but the characters overlap into each story. The first story, Dear John, is about a young woman who has lost her parents in an accident and must care for her downs syndrome brother. It is a romance and shows how second chances are given in life. The second story, That Wilder Boy, is also a romantic story that is complicated with misunderstandings and second chances are shown in it also. The third story, Promising Angela, is about a young woman that was arrested for drug use. She is trying to change her life for the better and falls in love with a man who just won't believe she is trying to change, but he loves her. This book kept my interest and I love how it is based on second chances and forgiveness. I really enjoy all of Kim Vogel Sawyer's books.
