It was a good read, very similar to Cynthia Eden's paranormal series. The only bad comment I have is that Gross doesn't do a very good job with conversation between Kade and Sydney, especially during the sex scenes. It's very wooden and somewhat formal. She does a good job with friendly bantering though.
I love the characters, especially Sydney. She is fun and tough but there is a touch of sweet innocence in her I wouldn't think to find in a Philly cop.
