I liked this book! A fascinating look into the world of presidency. It poses interesting questions such as what if a woman ruled the rule and what if she was willing to risk everything for the man she loved? What would happen then? I think one would certainly find this a great read to have.

This book surprised me a bit. I wasn't familiar with the author when I requested it. I was intrigued by the story of the first female president and whatever intrigues she may face. As it turns out, this author is a Christian writer. By the end, one of the main characters has found God, confessed all manner of sins and dropped the President as a friend like a hot potatoe. I finished reading it because I wanted to know what happened to Madame President, but it is not my preferred area of reading.

A woman who is willing to risk her very soul in order to become the first female president of the U.S. & her lover. This is a story about how power corrupts, how those caught in the throes of power will even turn on those they love. In the midst of this story lies a struggle, a demand for loyalty before all else & a man who cannot live with his moral failure. A twist near the end of the story turns the story on its head & causes the reader to question what really goes on in the halls of power.

I just could not get into this book. The story just did not seem to move along enough to keep my interest.
