Amazing follow up to Invisible Life. I stayed up most of one night to finish this book that catches us up on the lives of Raymond, Kyle, and Nicole who were first introduced in Harris' novel Invisible life. This book takes you through the life, loves, and death of some.

Aside from dealing with homosexuality and homophobia, the author tackles such complex problems as racism based on skin color, the AIDS epidemic, and the church's reaction to gays. This is "ground-breaking" fiction at its best. The book gives a sensitive depiction of gay/heterosexual friendships. You don't have to be gay to relate to this story of human connections across all types of differences. But you do have to be open-minded to enjoy the complexities of the relationships that are described in detail.
