Competely red edited, the New Folger Libray edition of Shakespeare's plays puts readers in touch with current ways of thing about Shakespearse. Each freshly edited text is based directly on what the editors consider the best early printed version of the play. Each volume contains full explanatory notes on pages facing the text of the play, as well as helpful introdution to the Shakespears's lanuage.

This copy has text on the right, definitions and explanations on the left page. This could be useful, although I find there's nothing worse than an explanation of a stupid Shakespearean joke.

I don't care for Julius Caesar much, but this edition is wonderful. Side by side Shakespeare's English to modern day English, summaries, and other great info that make reading it bearable. Great edition!
