I did not get a lot out of this book. It seemed to be written more for adults with ADD/ADHD who do not have their lives under control whatsoever. It provides a form of self-help by increasing self-esteem and trying to work at organization and such. I'm an adult with ADHD who basically has my life under control by a lifelong system of extreme organization and working with my strengths and against my weaknesses due to the way my brain works. I feel like this book was more for people whose lives are utter chaos and they have only just been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD recently. My favorite part of this book was the beginning which describes having a certain type of mind, rather than a disorder to be "fixed". I also liked that they didn't push the idea of using medication down readers' throats. I was hoping for more than the rudimentary descriptions and suggestions provided within. This book may be helpful to those who are struggling a little more than I am, but I will look elsewhere for the in-depth information I seek.
