Since I helped edit this book, worked for the author and was a close personal friend, I am biased. I met Sage when I was fourteen years old. My life was on a bad track at the time. I had been abused by my stepfather every way imaginable. While a lot of the work we did was painful, it helped me to eventually find peace in my life. Sage was a spiritual pragmatist. She believed in getting somewhere with spirituality, rather than just endless hand-holding. She passed away the end of February 2009. Her spirit lives on the great works she has done for myself, the people who were fortunate to attend her seminars, and through these books. These books are a look inside her mind and her heart. They are what she taught people. Some of her books even include actual transcripts of sessions with clients, with identities changed of course. Her work was ahead of its time and her brilliance has not yet be recognized. This book is well worth the short time it takes to read it, especially for the enormous potential of personal healing it can potentially deliver. Her work made my life better.
