A riveting tale told through the use of a gunslinger's diary that creates a story so impelling that it is difficult to put it down. Clay Halser is a gun toting lawman, former outlaw, rivaling Wild Bill Hickcock in notoriety. The really interesting thing about this dialogue is the realism that the reader feels towards the end when Clay is explaining his true feelings of what his life has been since achieving such a reputation.
Probably one of the best western stories to come down the pike.
