This book is a must read for any hockey fan. I enjoyed this book for two reasons. The first is because Keith Jones was not a likely candidate to become a professional hockey player. He didn't have the skills of a Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux. He was an average player, who set his sights on the lofty goal of becoming a professional hockey player. And he made it. It's a great reminder that you can often achieve things if you put your mind to it, even if it seems to be out of reach. Secondly, I enjoyed it because his story was full of great anecdotes from his hockey career - some involving players you may have heard of, others you probably haven't. There were some great stories that happened in the locker room and off the ice that had me laughing like crazy. This was probably my favorite hockey book that I have read. I would recommend it to any hockey fan - whether a fan of Keith Jones or not.
