Very thorough account of his life and accomplishments as a singer and songwriter. If you are interested in details of his career - tours, records, etc. - this is a comprehensive work. If you are more interested in the man himself, I would recommend his autobiography. Both are interesting books, and this one is well-researched, but the autobiography feels more personal to me.
