Funny, sexy, and suspenseful ... these are three things that not only describe this book to a "t", they are the things I love most in romance book, and Lori Foster nearly never falls short of a spectacular story (unexpected, and the scandalous antho an exception). Say no to joe is the 1st book in the visitation series and it is awesome! you have joe, the dominant, macho, all-around-bad ass, and luna, the independent, sassy, and compassionate heroine. They make an awesome couple, and feed well off each other. Great great book that is a must read for any lori foster fan!

Exotic psychic-assistant Luna Clark has avoided confirmed bachelor Joe Winston for three long months. She knows that she's far too attracted to the very sexy Winston male but when she needs protection for her two young orphaned cousins, she turns to the tough bounty hunter. Delighted at the opportunity to spend time with Luna, Joe packs his bag and accompanies her to North Carolina, where he finds himself falling in love not only with Luna, but with the teen-age girl and young boy who are now her responsibility. But someone is causing "accidents" to happen at the house on Quiet Lake and before Joe can concentrate on seducing Luna, he'll have to find the perpetrator before the danger escalates.

Great Book! 1st in the Visitation series. I would love to see the kind of man Austin grows up to be under Joe's influence. Maybe even he and Cory will get together in a later book. That would be AWESOME!!!

Joe Winston is used to women falling at his feet. But the one woman he does want, has made it clear that she's too smart to fall for him. Now Luna Clark has inherited two children who need her and she's asking Joe to help her out.

This is the first book in a series about the town of Visitation in Welcome County, North Carolina. Visitation seems like a strange little town at first, but the longer you're there, the stranger it becomes. Hardly anyone is what they seem; this keeps it from being boring, but makes it hard to know when it is OK to trust!

I loved this book. Joe was HOT! He was everything I love in a hero: strong, sexy, possessive, sensitive, funny, smart, etc. He never acted like a jerk, never fought his attraction to Luna and was ready to handle any action that came their way. Luna was a heroine you could like. She was quirky and independent, but not so much where she wouldn't ask for help.

Lori Foster is one of my favorite authors. Sometimes her books can be hit or miss with me. There have been some that were too "cutesy" or light, but not this one. I've been reading this series a bit out of order, but it's terrific. Great stories, fabulous heroes, touching moments and hot sex. What more could you want?

I so loved this book! I enjoyed the four stories of the Winston brothers and was hoping this would live up to those, but it was even better. The kids left behind when their Mom dies have gone through a whole town that seems to be against them. Bring in a X-bounty hunter being hunted who no woman can resist and the little boy wants to be just like and a nutty mistic Cousin who now takes over their care and a few other crazy characters and you have a book that made me laugh out loud, cry and held out on the sex, which made it well worth the wait.

This was a good read.

Joe Winston has a routine with women: he exists; they swoon; roll credits. With his smoldering looks, macho style, and irrespressible charm, Joe can have any woman--except the one he really wants. Secretly, Luna Clark may lust after Joe, but she's made it clear that she's too smart to fall for him. He can just keep holding his breath, thank you very much. But now, Luna's inherited two kids who need more than she alone can give in a small town that seems hell-bent on driving them away. She needs someone to help out...someone who can't be intimidated...someone just like Joe. Becoming an instant family wasn't exactly what Joe had in mind, but hey, it's a start, and you can't blame a guy for trying every angle.
After all, where there's a Joe, there's a way...straight into a woman's heart.

This is Book one in the Visitation Series.

Meet Joe Winston. He is a tough guy that has women dripping off him. He has no interest in settling down. Meet Luna Clark. She is feisty and sassy. She has just become the guardian of two children. With Joes help she plans to create a home for the children.

This was a nice read but too easy to figure out.
