just like the author, i earned my bachelors degree in theatre. maybe that allows me to relate more easily to ayun as she struggles through "mainstream" jobs in the hopes of supporting her after-hours theatre career. i found the book both hilarious and bittersweet, and i guess i'm at that part in my life where i'm finally ready to bite the bullet and go mainstream. so this book was oddly comforting and hopeful.

Interesting account of her various jobs since high school. Well-written, if not scintillating.
