"Joanna's Adventure", set in an historical setting in Cedar Bend, Kansas is a very enjoyable read. It is a sequel to "Mariah's Hope" also by M. J. Conner. It would make this story more fun for you to read if you have read "Mariah's Hope" first.
It was a delight to me to learn recently after already being a big fan of this Author that she is a fellow PBS member.
She has also published titles under her real name "Mildred Colvin". Those are also excellent books!
