This book I read off and on for a couple months. Not something I read straight through. Back in Nov 08 or so, I watched an old rerun of "Mommy Dearest", and I began to wonder what Joan Crawford was all about, so I bought a couple books about her life. This is one of them. Tells of her life, friends, her family, her enemies, her marriages. Interesting, gossipy. I've got a couple more Joan Crawford books I'm reading through off an on. I recently saw "What ever happened to Baby Jane?" on late night TV. Creepy! But, it was fun to know all the private stuff going on behind the scene.

Not a very good book; the author spends a good deal of it re capping movie plots
