I loved this book. This is the story of a jewish family living in the south and is told with such love. not just very touching but also funny. Makes you laugh and cry at times. Very fast read.
Humorous, enjoyable story of a Jewish family and their store in 1920's Tennessee-I had never heard the term 'Jew Store' before-and wasn't sure what to expect. I found I really liked all of the characters, and their stories. I was a little disappointed at the end-but not to spoil it, I won't go into detail.
