Jeremy Dauber is the Atran Associate Professor of Yiddish Language, Literature, and Culture in the Department of Germanic Languages at Columbia University, specializing in Yiddish literature.

In 2008, he was named acting director of the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies at Columbia. Dauber’s research interests include Yiddish literature of the early modern period, Hebrew and Yiddish literature of the nineteenth century, the Yiddish theater, and American Jewish literature.
