I love Pam & Nicky's "Jelly Roll" books, but this book was a little surprising. I have come to love and enjoy strip quilting where the blocks materialise under your ruler in no time - but these blocks are more along the line of "cut out (number) of 2 1/2" squares and make (number) half square triangles, and a few flying geese too, now assemble as diagrammed.
I have been eager and made the "Quarter of" sampler quilt towards the end of the book, and I have really enjoyed the process and the method, contrary to my first impression upon opening the book.
The quilts are all stunning and inspirational and the photography amazing. My own quilt was just as lovely!
