It is a very interesting read, although a little difficult to follow at times. Being almost entirely composed of Jefferson's own writings to himself, family, friends and others, there are many words and expressions that have disappeared from our common language usage so that makes it a bit difficult to understand what he meant. Still, it provides great insights into the man and his ethics, emotions, thoughts and philosophies. I highly recommend this book and be prepared to do a bit of research while reading it.
