In interesting book detailing how one can lose weight...or avoid gaining it...by eating in the Japanese style. Will work best if you live alone or are partnered with another person who does not have 'meat and potatoes' appetite!

A few recipes included. No pictures. The Japanese home-cooking style can be easily done in most American households. Worth a read.

A fascinating book for one who has read a lot of books on weight control. This one is promising - not just selling a 'product' but teaching about REAL Japanese home cooking and about the skills the Japanese mother when it comes to food. I love this book! The author writes an interesting bit of biography as she goes along. VERY readable too.
