Back of book says: Japanese Vegetarian Cooking is beautifully healthufl, nutritious, and delicious. Clear and comprehensive, it is the only guide you will need to master one of the world's great cuisines.

I say: Lots of info about different foods and styles included. Here's a sample of the recipes: Deep Fried Carrot Cakes; Leek Salad with Hot Miso Dressing; Pumpkin Tempura; Wakame and Snow Pea Soup; Yokan (Aduki Bean Jelly); Inari Sushi (Stuffed Tofu Pouches); also gives directions for cooking such as Yuba and Nori.
