" A terrible secret could tear them apart...or bring them closer together." Secrets, lies, blame and guilt. Only love and forgiveness can overcome the mistakes of the past.." A really good book.
Secrets, lies, blame and guilt. This was a good Rachel Lee book.
I read this for a theme potluck in my online book club, The Reading Cove. A JANUARY CHILL got off to a promising start, but I found the story to be very contrived, and far too angst-ridden to be enjoyable.
The troubled thoughts of Joni, Hannah, Hardy and Witt were repeated so many times it got old fast.
I also felt zero chemistry between Hardy and Joni, their romantic encounters ended up being predictable and boring. I couldn't recommend this. C-
