This novel is part of a series, altho it can stand alone), where the author blends Jane Austen's novels and historical novels into detective stories. Fun!

Good installment in the Jane Austen mystery series. Not as instantly-immersive as some of the past entries in the series but still a good read. The ending actually had me in tears.

Excellent addition to Stephanie Barron's Jane Austen series. Jane gets involved in another adventure with Sir Harold, which involves duels, the gentry, an old friend and the haunted ruins of an abbey. Again, Barron writes so well you would truly believe Jane was writing the story herself.
