"A story of reconciliation....against all the odds."
A very well written story of a family's tragic loss and how they learned to get through it. It provides real insight into the grieving process. Helped me understand my own grief and gave me ideas for ways to help my family after the loss of my sister.
Also reminded me how much God loves me and wants to forgive me when I mess up and that NO ONE is beyond forgiveness.

this was not what I expected from the title, so I don't want to give much away. It was a well written book and gives great insight in dealing with lifes trials and forgiveness.

This is one of the best stories I have read concerning loss & how one deals with grief. In the story there is terribly real grief over the loss of a child plus the grief over the potential loss of the marriage. The feelings & characters are very real to life. I've traveled this road with friends & found the book filled with profound wisdom into the grieving process. If you know someone who has lost a child, this is a book you will want to read to gain some good insight into helping them through the process. Stephanie Grace Whitson has done an excellent job of portraying real emotions & leading the characters to the only real answer to peace in the midst of loss: Jesus Christ.
