While this book is bleak and dark, it is a compelling read. It's about Andrew J.Rush, a successful mystery reader who also writes the series "Jack Of Spades" under a pseudonym. Neither his family, publisher nor agent know about his new sadistic, thriller series. However the subject's satan-like "Jack" takes over his life and it spirals downward from there I hated the ending.
Sad to give any book a small rating but this one just didn't make a lot of sense, oh I understand the story but it just wasn't very interesting.
It is more like a short story and maybe have a creepy vibe a couple times but yet it just wasn't one I'd recommend to anyone.
