This book caught my eye in a bookstore a while back. I'm glad that it did because it was an extremely well-written book. The plot was tight - there was a lot of mystery, but the information was given just at the right time; the characters are great. The only thing I didn't really like was the way that it ended, but perhaps the author was leaving it open for a sequel.

Wow, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. A different take on werewolves. This is one of those books I just found while browsing around & it looked intersting. Im glad I ordered it. The storyline is really great & the author really seemed to know her stuff about werewolf lore. Lots of surprises & twists. Kinda like a cross between a horror & mystery. I am immediately buying the next book "Luna".

Ivy Cole and the Moon first caught me because the cover and taglines were so interesting. This book does not dissapoint. The plot is interesting and keeps you turning the page from present day North Carolina to German folklore. I hope there is a sequel coming because it seemed to imply as much at the end of the book. Ivy is a charcter anyone can identify with as she walks that fine line of what sorts of evil people she should personally punish. After all, "some people deserve a good killing".

This was a good read. It was definitely a different kind of werewolf book than I'm used to reading. I'm not sure I always liked Ivy, but the author definitely made me care about the story. I look forward to reading the continuation of this story.

Werewolf story where the girl is the werewolf. Kind of an interesting twist. I'm sure there is a sequel coming.

This has to be one of the best books I've read in a long time. Couldn't put it down once I started. Can't wait until Luna is released to read more of this talented author.

What a terrific werewolf story! I absolutely loved it! It was quite different from what I expected - and in a very good way. The book was impeccably researched, with a solid plot and fantastic characters. I really loved it! It was an absolute pleasure to read and I am SO happy to have the sequel already. I just can't wait to read it!

This was my first book by Gina Farago and it will not be by last. I enjoyed reading this book and loved how it was able to keep my attention throughout. This was definitely not your typical werewolf book.

I don't normally read books about were wolves, but I enjoyed this one. It was very hard to put down once I got into it.

This was a very different kind of werewolf story than I usually read. Ivy was an intense, strong character who was sometimes difficult to like. One side of her saves stray dogs, the other side serves out justice as a werewolf every month. But I have to say I enjoyed the book & can't wait to read the next one in the series.

When darkness falls on a mountain, it does not descend slowly, like the sinking of a great black ship over the peaks.

Ivy Cole returns to her home state of North Carolina after being away for a decade. Strange things are happening in the small town of Doe Springs. A "devil" appears each full moon and people disappear or die. Ivy has always tried to be careful about the prey she chooses during the full moon. They are bad hurtful people that she hopes no one will miss. Killing the local postal carrier brings things to close to Ivy and her secret. There is also another werewolf in the area that is not being as careful and Ivy searches for him before he reveals what they are.

This was an enjoyable story set in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina. The local sheriff is a woman on edge because of the mysterious deaths. One of the deputies falls for Ivy and digs a little too close into her past. Ivy's pack of dogs are a mishmash of rescues that she loves unconditionally. I enjoyed the characters and the descriptive settings. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
