Not as predictable as her other books. Had a few nice twists and was a very fast, enjoyable read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lots of good characters, murders, and romance. A story set in Florida involving divers, treasure, boats and a good mystery.

Beth and her family are on an island for vacation, amongst other vacationers as well. She finds a skull hidden in the sand on the beach, and is very suspicious about this guy Keith and his buddies that are walking the very same stretch of beach.... and they're coming straight toward her and the spot that the skull was found.

That's really all the farther I got in this one. The story just didn't hold my interest. Or rather, it might've if Beth wasn't freaked out about 'something' every-other second. She's too paranoid and too suspicious about what she found and started suspecting Keith and his buddies knowing or having something to do with the skull she found; and everything to do with who Keith was. It was just too dramatic and unrealistic for me.

I thought this book would be a nice summer mystery I might dig into, but once I started, I knew it wasn't going to be as intriguing as I had hoped. I would say read another one. Anything by Lisa Gardner is worth the thrill.

I did not like this book. Its the first book I've ever read by Heather Graham and I am disappointed because I had higher expectations.

This is Heather Graham's 2006 book.
On a weekend vacation with her brother and niece, Beth Anderson is unnerved when a stroll on the beach reveals what appears to be a skull, and instantly recalls the retired couple who disappeared off the island's coast a few months earlier. As a stranger approaches, Beth panics and covers the evidence. But when she later returns to the beach, the skull is gone.

A fast paced thriller/mystery/romance story set in Miami and the Florida Keys... a great escape to a more tropical place. It was a little confusing near the end, but overall an easy, enjoyable read.

I did not like this book. I thought it would be more suspenseful, but found that it reminded me a lot of a romance novel. If you are into romance and suspense, you may like this better than I did. I didn't even finish it because I did not enjoy it.

When a mysterious young man stumbles into the life of the recently widowed Claudia, he reignites her sleeping sexuality. But is the handsome and angelic Paul really a combination of innocent and voluptuary, amnesiac and genius? Claudias friends become involved in trying to decide whether or not he is to be trusted. As an erotic obsession flowers between Paul and Claudia, and all taboos are obliterated, his true identity no longer seems to matter.

Since I like books set in my home state of FL, I thought this would be a fun, summer read. Unfortunately, it was a romance novel disguised as a novel of suspense. The settings were good- an island off the shores of Miami called Calliope Key, and a yacht club in Miami, there were many undeveloped, interchangeable characters, plenty of red herrings, and the obligatory sex scenes....even upon the main characters' first meeting. I couldn't wait to finish this book, which I finally did, just to find out the denouement of the plot. But, general impression: meh. For readers of romance novels only.

OK - a little sappy, but the relationship between neice and aunt is fantastic. Brings back some of her previous characters in Miami such as Ashley (forensic artist) and her husband Jake. Easy summer beach read.
