I found this book to be a quick read, and one that I was unable to put down. Like all of Randy Alcorn's books, it was thought-provoking and masterfully-written. This short novel was very creative in its style and I highly recommend it to any Christian who is interested in reading a fiction book that isn't all fluff, but gives an idea of how real both demons and angels are. If you like this one, I recommend any other novel written by Randy Alcorn!

The devil sends messages to his troups, just as all soldier and generals do. The war is for our human souls and satan's generals known as Lords, use intimidation, anger, fear, hate and praise, to keep his soldiers in lines. Randy Alcorn is a very good author and an annointed writer.

Wow. This book left me totally speechless, so I'm not even sure what to write. It's a life-changing book with a really powerful ending. No matter what age or background, every person can relate to the characters and situations, and every person can learn something from this book. It was profound, encouraging, and inspiring.
I'm really impressed and will definitely read more of Alcorn. This is one of the best books I've read in a looong time. And I've read a lot of books.

A spiritual battle between good & evil.....very powerful story! Something I think many young people today need to read to keep them on the right path in their lives!
This is an awesome book ! Anyone who has teens or deals with teens should read this . And the teen should read it too .(mine loved it!) It is a very easy to read book that is enjoyable and gives a powerful glimpse into the supernatural war going on around us. Can be read as a stand alone with no problem , or as a sequel to Lord Foulgrin letters.
I have read other Alcorn books and this was by far not my favorite. I felt like it was more of a sermon cloaked in fiction. Not a realistic story line. He tried too hard to fit all kids of issues into one volume of writing. Does provoke one to think but still not a great work of literature.
I am glad FABIL recommended this to me. Enjoying Joyce Meyers' "Battlefield of the Mind," this book was the first time I read a fictional book portraying our daily battles. The book is directed towards Teens/Twenties but I enjoyed it as a parent. I wish I had someone to tell me how to fight the battle b/t good/evil twenty years ago, when I didn't do so well in the fight. Now, I am armed with what to tell my kids (who are too young to read this presently).

The letter is written by one of two of Satan's demons. They talk about how they can pit themselves against the teens and make them fail to follow God (in their words, the "Enemy").
The book quotes and references scripture and how it relates to life struggles. One of the best Christian lit books I have read.

This is a great book for Christians! I love to hear that we have angels and God behind me and that someone is actually writing about it!
Randy Alcorn is an amazing author. A word of caution, if you have NOT read "Lord Foulgrin Letters," you MUST...for this book to make the most sense, ESP. If you read this then LFL. Alcorn does a great job of weaving important truth into a fictional story.
