I love Issac Asimov and crave anything he wrote. This book is great for those that have read him and those just starting. It may be a bit dated for some. I am going to add it to my collection.

Want to break the ice? 80% of it is in the Antarctic. This and many other interesting bits of information are contained within the covers of this book. Some of the facts have been overcome by advances in science (e.g., some facts concerning computers and the (non) planet Pluto, but its still an interesting book with many pieces of trivia that could make one sound like an expert in esoteric knowledge. An enjoyable way to spend a few minutes a day pondering what other pieces of knowledge are tucked away in history.

At any given time: off-beat, odd, interesting, hilarious, and/or straight-up ridiculous. Definitely a great book for procrastination, entertainment, or a rainy day.
