Overall I liked this book although I found it to be a bit repetitive. Gera is the daughter of an Irish earl that is put to death by Henry VIII for treason. After which she goes to England to be with the rest of her family who are already there. She is determined to avenge her fathers death and repeats this every few pages. Other than that it is a fairly entertaining book but nothing spectacular.
