Cute set of short stories for young adults. Alternating between funny and lightly creepy, these tales should be a delight for young people, appealing even to those with short attention spans (some of the tales are only three pages of large-ish type long).

Wonderful stories for the young reader. Davide Lubar stories prompt the reader to wonder what if.....What if the copy machine at dad's work makes "special" copies? What is you had a magic Halloween costume. Makes you think outside the box!

I'm old enough to have children who would be the target audience of this book and I enjoyed the book quite a bit. This is a fun collection of quirky horror short stories. Mr. Lubar certainly has a very vivid imagination. I can understand the comparison to Steven King but I imagine that Mr. Lubar's style is closer to the R. L. Stine, Goosebumps stories.
