A Vince Flynn or David Baldacci Patrick Robinson is not!
At first I thought I had picked up a Clive Clussler novel by mistake.Patrick's main character is portrayed as some kind of patriotic super intelligent, super strong, super hero who everyone bows down to and he keeps reminding you of this throughout the entire book. He uses terms he doesn't understand and just makes up things as he goes along, (rolling stairs to get into a C-130 or grenades with 20 second fuses). If he continues to write about technical stuff he should take a class from Andy McNab or go back to writing about submarine warfare, which he seems to have a little better knowledge of.

Just okay...treatment of terrorists in the process of planning an attack was unrealistic. The cabal would never be allowed to progress to the target before being arrested or eliminated. One man going into a tribal village in an overt attack would never be able to get away - tribesmen would not be "cowering in their huts". I finished it out of stubbornness.
