This book and cd have been a great resource when teaching my students the close read strategy. The articles are interesting to them and easy to read and comprehend. They like that they can see what I am highlighting on the smartboard. The graphic organizers are easy to figure out, especially when I can model it for them on the smartboard. I've had other teachers Sk me where I go this because they've seen how well it works!
